Brown’s Island
Brown’s Island is one of the most essential outdoor-event locations in the city. The vistas from Brown’s Island of the downtown skyline, the James River, CSX train viaduct and the many other man-made structures make this a great place to unwind. Events like Dominion Riverrock and the XTERRA off-road triathlon series use Brown’s Island as their home base. Brown’s Island also, somewhat randomly, is wi-fi enabled.
