There are ten spots nominated along the James River Park:

- Tredegar Beach/Brown’s Island
- Belle Isle (Hollywood Rapid)
- Belle Isle (Southside Rocks)
- Texas Beach/North Bank
- Main Area/42nd Street Rocks
- Main Area West/ACL Bridge
- The Wetlands
- Pony Pasture
- Huguenot Flatwater
